About the books

Life is a journey filled with spiritual potential and many paths to religion. As we embark upon this journey, we can find strength, guidance, and resilience in the way we choose to follow our own truth. No matter the path we choose to take, we are all part of something greater and share a common purpose – to grow our understanding and experience of life, love, and the divine.

The Walking Shoes

Life is a journey we take with different paths for each of us to travel. Some may discover their own little Camelot and sail through life without a hitch. Others find bumps and bruises around every bend. It’s the shoes we’re wearing in the midst of hard times that map our personal journey.

The Walking Shoes
book summary continuation

We can choose to drown in safe pity or we can put on our best hiking boots and go forward knowing there is purpose in everything including cancer. Life and perseverance go hand in hand. If we keep our goal in sight, if we kick one pair of worn shoes off and slip into a new and better pair, if we learn to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start over as we go through pain and disappointment, we are destined to find a perfect fit.

Juanita Vianelle

Born in a small Texas town, I relocated to California when I was three years old. I was brought up in a diverse environment. My husband and I crossed paths at the ages of 13 and 15, and we were in a relationship for six years. Now, we’ve been happily married for 57 years. We are the proud parents of three children: Eric, Kimberly, and Michael. We also have two lovely granddaughters, Alexandra and Kayla.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
